The RAM (Lux) Systematic Funds - Global Equities Fund (Class-PI USD net of fee*) posted a performance of 0.66%, bringing Q3 performance to 4.73%.

In September, our short book continued to behave extremely well, contributing to the fund’s positive performance; while our long book detracted slightly. The fund posted positive performance on the market downside, as our selection was resilient in the wake of more COVID worries in the markets. The short book contributed positively thanks to its ability to find companies with negative fundamental and price trends. The engines have been particularly effective in selecting companies within the Healthcare sector. On the long side, our diversified and selective approach has paid off within the Consumer Discretionary and IT sectors (i.e. gaming companies), while detracting mostly because of our Materials and Consumer staples overweight. YTD the fund posed a positive return in USD, showing the strong robustness of the fund allocation in a such a volatile environment.
